my week in pics

this week was a good and productive one despite the buses being on strike and leaving me stranded twice in the rain.

i've been running and this morning roberto and i ran 5.5 miles or 9 kilometers (it sounds better in kilometers).

i made this video with the kids at school (gracias a itati for putting it all together).

i sat in the early morning sunlight snapping pictures of flowers.

i cleaned the house with the windows open dancing to the beach boys.

we bought our tickets to visit the uffizi gallery, the academia, the borghese and the vatican in italy.

i studied a bit to get my spanish driver's license (zzzzzzz).

i finished this book and started this one.

i had mint green tea in a pretty teacup.

we had delicious friday night tapas and cuajada con dulce de leche and strawberries for dessert.

i spent way too much time on pinterest, tumblr and twitter.

this will be my last week of school before spring break and out trip to la toscana! can't wait! i hope everyone has a nice week!

lately

i apologize for the lack of posts lately. we've been enjoying the fresh start of spring. we're able to sleep with the windows open now and in the morning we awake to the sounds of birds chirping and ruffling in the trees. i work a lot during the week but i try to make up for lost time on the weekends resting, running, reading, going out to eat with roberto and enjoying our new pup, ringo. here are some pics from the last week and our little outing to the beach this morning. only two weeks until we take our trip to tuscany! i'll surely have lots to share after our trip
